We are still trying to fill our days with fun. Friday night we attended a Gingerbread House making party, The kids had a great time and I was so impressed with their creativity, We made enough gingerbread to make two houses, this is the boys house...Aaron put up the walls and the boys did the rest.
Notice the tire swing, well its only a tire swing to Kyle, Scott says its a toilet swing either way I think it's very clever!
This is the girls house (Emily took the picture)
they had their own dollop of cleverness and made a Ginger-Santa topped off with a Santa hat.
Saturday I took the big kids to the "Winter fest"( Aaron and the baby girls stayed home for a nap) It wasn't crowded and we did everything we wanted to do without standing in line! we rode the train.
Rode the ponies
took a carriage ride
Took pictures by the "Scotland tree" (That's for you Grandma Connie!) and the boys had a little chat with St. Nick.
It wasn't the Winter Wonderland some may experience at Christmas time, but it did have the kids begging for hot chocolate when we left,so it was plenty of winter for us!
